Hi Matt and to the cableforum

About your FTP, as it happened the same time you changed your password, I'd be inclined to say it's not an NTL problem.

Have you asked your web host if there is a problem with the FTP?
Could always try changing your FTP password again, might have been a problem while changing it the 1st time.

As for Outlook, not sure really, I don't use outlook!
But do you get a more detailed message or just the "Could not connect to server."
Is the email on the same server as the FTP, and would it be using the same username & password, or did you try changing your email password at the same time?

Cheers
MikeyB

Re: Can not connect to website??

i can connect via ftp ok (although obviously don't have the details to login)

220 ProFTPD 1.2.10 Server (ProFTPD) [65.98.68.162]

Re: Can not connect to website??

It isn't an NTL problem, i know its my PC now because i tested it with an old pc and the username / password is working fine and i can connect.

What could be wrong on this pc thats stopping me from viewing the site?

perhaps a firewall blocking the relevant ports/ programs?
