I am a student, and use the 3 for £30 service with ntl as i thought it would be good value for money (how wrong i was, ive never dealt with a more incompitent company!!!)
As it is a student home, and now summer it is hardly occupied. On a visit to the house, my housemate opened a bill from ntl and discovered there was a phone bill totalling over £120!!! to strange numbers and places such as pakistan and unknown mobile numbers etc. I know for a fact it wasnt any of us, or our landlord (he is the only other person with access to our house) because 1: we all have mobiles and hardly ever use the house phone even when we are living there, 2: None of us have been in the house to make calls at the dates and times specified on the bill and 3: Our landlord is from India, as is his family and is not particularly fond of Pakistan in general!
Please can anone help, as I am the one responsible for the ntl account and so the money will be taken from me! I work hard for my money in the holidays, and that kind of money requires me to work at least 30 hours to earn!!! and I certainly dont want to line ntl's pockets with MY HARD EARNED money, or give someone else free calls at our expense!!!
