EPG issue
Is anyone else finding that most of the EPG is showing as To Be Announced on their TV? If I view VM on my PC the EPG is working fine.
I really don't want to phone up on a Bank holiday to find out why so I'm hoping that any VM CS can say why this is happening.
I'm not that bothered but the OH is going nuts about it.

Re: EPG issue
I've not been a cable customer for many years, but back in the NTL days the standard first line advice was reboot the box. Did you try that?

Re: EPG issue
Our box is currently in use so I can't be specific, but there's an option in the settings to connect to the servers, or wording like that. I believe others have said that helps in the past. A reboot will probably do it too.

Had a look...
Settings=> Network=> Connect to the Virgin Media Service now

Re: EPG issue
The server connections are failing for some TiVos. TiVo engineers are working on it.
I don't think rebooting or forcing a connection will help at this point.

Re: EPG issue
It is being fixed, but is a slow process. Hopefully yours will get done in the next few hours.

Re: EPG issue
The word on the forum is empty office locked where the epg is updated, source saying the office is in an outsourced area?

Which unreliable forum was that? It's clearly nonsense, given that most TiVos and all V6s continued to get their EPG updates fine.
Some TiVos were failing to connect to download their EPG updates. TiVo's operations centre in the US (who work 24/7) fixed it overnight, but it will take a while for all affected boxes to download the missing data.
