Slow upload in Newcastle

Afternoon guys, wondering if anyone had any ideas on the below issue, posted on VM forums but still awaiting a reply.

Bit of a back story

Tuesday morning woke up to no internet connection, and no amount of reboots would fix it, so VM were called who advised a channel (s) were unlocked and should be locked.

This was done and we got connection back, however since then we are getting great download speeds, consistant 96-98Meg, even in peak hours, however this seems to have broke our upload, max we can get is 2.6 up, this is on multiple pc's and even tried over wifi which gives the same results.

One thing i've noticed is the modem is now syncing on 4 channels whereas before it was only 3, maybe an upgrade to the network?

Engineer was scheduled Wednesday afternoon, who turned up, had a look at the stats, rebooted the superhub, did a few speedtest on various sites (including the internal VM engineer one) and couldnt hit more than 3Meg, advised he wasnt sure what the problem was and left without really making us aware of what was happening next.

Engineer got the same sort of results on the internal VM speed test, but obviously i cant access that to post the results
