Fed up with the TV issues
Is it just me or is anyone else enjoying the following issues...
- EPG guide showing WRONG programmes
- Multi room box showing NO info (rebooted umpteen times)
- Slow, slow slow performance of V+ box
- Ghost recordings that you cannot stop on V+ BOX
- Pathetic remote control performace on v+ box
- OD works when it wants to...very rarely!
Phew, rant over.
For a premium service guys, it would be real nice if we got the basics right (RED BUTTON)...please.
To balance this out, BB and telephone is miles ahead of Sky/BT
TV is miles behind Sky.

Re: Fed up with the TV issues
Cables TTV platfarm has always been like that, all the ranting in the World won't change a thing.
However instead of ranting why not just get Sky TV installed.

The ghost recordings are the only issue that we are curerently aware of (and working on!)
What channel has incorrect EPG data?
The box without EPG info may need a tech
What errors are you getting on your On Demand?
What channel do you have RED button issues on?

Hi
In order of reply
1 Ghost recordings been going on for over a year
2 The incorrect EPG shows mainly on Disney, BBC 1 and ITV2
3 It has now got EPG but showing for 6.00am and not moving/no programme info etc
4 Constantly getting, try again later, error code 1015 and another that I cannot remember but started with 20
5 I was referring to the red button features of Sky, long shot I know but hey ho

1. is being worked on and will be in the next code download ( we have to test the code to make sure it doesn't cause another problem, before releasing it)
2. I'm not aware of any EPG issues on those channels? Are they late programme changes?
3. You neeed a tech to check your installation if you are getting those issues, poss signal problem.
4. I'm thinking it's more likely 1051? (1015 relates to smartcard issues), so likely to be linked to the problem in point 3, again you need a tech.
5. Sky RED button agreement has been signed with Sky, to launch early 2011.. so coming soon.
Give VM tech support a call and you should get them resolved with a tech appointment (point 1 being worked on already )

Re: Fed up with the TV issues
1051 will not get a engineer out, it will just be monitored.

Depends if he's having return path problems though... he should get a tech based on the other issues IMO
