Re: loyalty bonus

How do you get a loyalty bonus? I've had cable since before it was even Telewest and currently paying top whack for the VIP package. Kind of feels like I'm being shafted when I see what's offered to new customers that may well bugger off once their 12 months is up

New Customers pay exactly the same for the VIP bundle as everyone else

Exactly !!

Its all one big scam.

There trying to make out it should cost this and it should cost that.

Basically a new customer gets a special price

An old customer doesnt get that price but he gets a loyalty bonus .

That just happens to suprise surprise be the exact same amount.

So yes when you look at it existing customers -you should get a lower rate than new customers but you dont.So basically your not getting a loyalty bonus. Its all one big advertising con .

Why should you? If anything the people who are on the Loyalty deals are exactly the people who have no Loyalty and are the first ones to go 'Well if you won't give me free X,Y,Z I'm off to Sky'

Show me where the Loyalty deals are advertised or where it is mentioned that a Loyalty bundle will always be cheaper or any better the the same price a new customer pays?

People will always come and go -and yes there are no pleasing some whatever you give them.

But in the main people like me who have been with Virgin since the NTL days are loyal customers and should be getting a deal better than brand new customers.

The point being wether you have been with Virgin for years or your just joining you get the same price in some sort of price fixing scheme. It would be nice to think there would be some PROPER loyalty bonus in place to reward long serving customers.

One thing that always has put me off going to SKY is that damn awfull cereal bowl you have to have on the side of your house.

Re: loyalty bonus

My point is that there is no reward for loyalty, so why call it a loyalty bonus

Re: loyalty bonus

I haven't a clue - what it should be called is a 'Price Match' bundle because that is what it is designed to do. Price Match against a competitors specific set of services

That's how I got mine - the Sky mob came round about 18 months ago, quoted me a price to match the services I had with VM, and I rang up VM and asked if a comparative deal was available; they matched the price Sky offered, so I stayed.

Re: loyalty bonus

I think the best thing about VM ( and yes l do give credit when its due), they will negotiate a price with you regarding services if you have financial problems, whereas Sky won't, When l was made redundant, Sky told me to reduce my services to Freesat, But VM gave us a deal, so we stuck with them.
