Ex Telewest Control

My Ex-Telewest control is playing up.

Is it possiable to ring 150 and get a new control to replace it for free or is there a fee?

Thanks

phone 151. usually if just general wear and tear, is a free replacement. If the dog ate it then you will have to pay

Re: Ex Telewest Control

Will it be the Silver Ex-Telewest or the New Black Virgin Control by any chance? Just curious!

Also would the current controll have to be sent back?

Re: Ex Telewest Control

The black virgin one is only for the V+ for ex-tw areas, so you would probably get the same silver remote but with Virgin on it rather than 'Telewest Broadband'

The old one doesn't need to be sent back

Re: Ex Telewest Control

You get the silver remote with Telewest Broadband on it, and they provide a freepost envelope to send the old one back in

Re: Ex Telewest Control

Trust me they dont anymore collect modems or remotes and with a disconnection sometimes with certain stb's they dont collect them or request them back. If so they need to charge me for a remote
