Good luck, but A+ on it's own isn't worth a great deal, it's just a starting point. You may get a job as a junior IT techie. Do you have further exams planned?
Wasn't until I got MS MCP that agencies took any notice, and that is with 28 years IT experience with previous employer.
i'm soon to be doing an a+ certificate and was wondering what kind of employment opportunities there is for this.
Not a whole lot TBH, apart from the usual computer technician/helpdesk work.
Your probably better off stepping it up to the OCR Level 3 System Support with Network+ - this one is supported by Cisco and Microsoft and should help if you want to work as a network admin.
Small disclaimer: I just finished my first year of the above course but I don't need the qualification due to being a Web Developer.
