Hi polmki :welcome: to https://www.cableforum.co.uk/images/...2010/09/24.gif
I'm sure some of the people here are doing or have done that qualification, so hopefully you should get some good replies soon. In the mean time, can't help but  at your signature.....in fact  and PMSL might be better - I'm sure you didn't mean it the way it reads :D <Edit: The addition of a picture has helped somewhat.....> |

Re: Employment after a+ certificate
Good luck, but A+ on it's own isn't worth a great deal, it's just a starting point. You may get a job as a junior IT techie. Do you have further exams planned?
Wasn't until I got MS MCP that agencies took any notice, and that is with 28 years IT experience with previous employer. |

Your probably better off stepping it up to the OCR Level 3 System Support with Network+ - this one is supported by Cisco and Microsoft and should help if you want to work as a network admin. Small disclaimer: I just finished my first year of the above course but I don't need the qualification due to being a Web Developer. |
Re: Employment after a+ certificate
You can try applying for Tech support in schools with the TIA A+we have one at our school who has that certificate.
