pre fetching or NTL banned

1. Does XP pre-fetch?

2. Does anyone else get this problem at
http://www.blackviper.com/WinXP/servicecfg.htm

Alert
Due to abuse, the server banned your IP address automatically.

This could be due to various internet accelerator programs, image directory access, link pre-fetching software, or bots that do not conform to internet standards.

If in error, send an e-mail with your IP address to: bv (AT) blkviper.com and I will look into it.

I apologize, in advance, if the action taken is an error.

Have a look in browser options to see if you can turn pre-fetch/cache off.

Re: pre fetching or NTL banned

No problem, funnily enough I only sorted my own browser out an hour ago. Spooky or what.

Re: pre fetching or NTL banned

Try changing proxy server - it could just be the proxy that is causing the problem.
