hi guys - if i connect my modem (sb4100) straight to the pc - 10meg.
If i connect modem - router - pc - 6-7meg.

any ideas? settings wise not alot i can change - one wireless laptop, but the concern is the wired pc only having 6meg.

My quick suggestion is that it's chopping the connection up between wireless and wired, and is therefore lowering throughput.

Which firmware do you have ? If you don't have the latest, try it, sometimes issues can be resolved with a firmware upgrade.

http://kbserver.netgear.com/products/WGT624.asp

Make sure you get the right firmware, check to see which router version you are using.
