Re: VM Test

Test what exactly ?

If you just want to speed test, use the one we link to in the menu, or https://www.speedtest.net (Ookla).

That works best using the desktop app.

Re: VM Test

to get the very truest picture you need a large file and a multi threaded download tool. You also need to know the site is good too.

My Usenet reader and Host allows 20 connections of when I down load a few linux distros I saturate my bandwidth available ( sometimes though they have issues so speed drops) an ISO off M$ using something like download accelerator plus and 5+ connections

Re: VM Test

Images show the difference between speed net and SABnzb Vodaphone/lebara cap single threaded at a max 170 meg whereas Usenet with mutli connections gives much more

Re: VM Test

I was going to suggest downloading a Linux distro . . but what (and how) that would compare to any other large file on his/her/their connection I don't know so didn't bother.
