Windows Media Player Query
When I try to burn a CD on Media Player the blank CD drawer opens & tells me I am using another something else at the same time. which I am not. they tell me to update a driver, which I do not know how to do
If I try again it seems to be ok a second time, & burns without any problem
Any help would be appreciated. Nash

Re: Windows Media Player Query
I dumped Media Player as a burner years ago. The free program CDburnerXP is far more reliable.

Re: Windows Media Player Query
It'll work fine on windows 7, ignore the XP in the name.

This box just popped up & said I needed new drivers, I don't think it had anything to do the CD burner. so I deleted it when they asked for money,
I just panic when I have to download sometimes

Re: Windows Media Player Query
I think that might have been a chancer virus. I'd do a scan just in case, especially if you were downloading from the correct site.
