A 14-year-old has been stabbed at a school in Leeds.
Police said they believed the youth was attacked by another pupil at Allerton Grange High in the north of the city at about 0930 GMT.

He is now in a stable condition in the Leeds General Infirmary. West Yorkshire Police said a 13-year-old boy had been arrested.

Parts of the school have been cordoned off. Detectives said the stabbing was not being treated as a racial attack.

Shouldn't that be that the murder rate for teens murdering teens is er up?

Interesting article in the Torygraph confirming (not that I doubted) the above posters points.
"Of the 734 offences recorded as homicide, nine per cent of the victims were children. Part of the rise was caused by a growing number of infants killed by their parents - 40 victims were aged under five."

That is a scary statistic.

Not only scary but also horrific....... How could you kill your own child? Maybe Drugs or Booze related maybe. Still unbelievable whatever the cause.
