In other news, the murder rate was down last year. Doesn't get the same headlines, oddly*

* And, of course, the biggest danger to children remains overwhelmingly their own parents.

Shouldn't that be that the murder rate for teens murdering teens is er up?

Interesting article in the Torygraph confirming (not that I doubted) the above posters points.
"Of the 734 offences recorded as homicide, nine per cent of the victims were children. Part of the rise was caused by a growing number of infants killed by their parents - 40 victims were aged under five."

That is a scary statistic.

Not only scary but also horrific....... How could you kill your own child? Maybe Drugs or Booze related maybe.:shrug: Still unbelievable whatever the cause.:confused:
