Kojak
Do you remember Kojak?
I just read over on Digital Spy that ITV4 are considering bringing back this in the form of the American remake.
http://www.usanetwork.com/series/kojak/flash.html
I remember the original fondly so I guess I'll have a look at the new one

Re: Kojak
Erm....Ving Rhames is black?
Not wishing to stir up a hornet's nest here but would they have made Shaft white?

Re: Kojak
I agree if they are going to bring it back surely they should use a white actor?

Telly Savalas was of Greek ancestry (his full name was Aristotle "Telly" Savalas) he was hardly "pure" caucasian.

What does it matter anyway?
"Stavros!"
"Yes lootenant?"
"Book him!"
"Yes lootenant."

Re: Kojak
As long as it's good I don't think it matters what colour the actor is.

But he's still bald, & certainly able to kick ass
I think he could be quite good.

Yeah, let's give him a chance, although if they were determined to use a black actor I'd have gone for Louis Gossett Jr.

Re: Kojak
This new Kojak was on the TV while I was in Orlando back in April, I watched a few of them and thought it was quite good.
