The Pace STBs are very much working at their limits at the 1 meg setting. Depending on your area ntl should consider either replacing it with a Samsung, or providing you with a separate Cable Modem. If you have any likelihood of increasing speeds in the future, then it makes sense to request that the Pace be upgraded. If of course (not so essential wiht a wireless router), you need your broadband in a separate room to the STB, then a separate cable modem would be useful.
