I presume you are trying to use your mobile phone as a remote controller for the STB relying on the phone's inbuilt IR transmitter.

Unfortunately whilst that may be possible for many controllers, a number of the PACE STBs use IRDA rather than the more standard IR for signalling. Not sure what form the DI4000T takes, but if it is IRDA, and your phone cannot do that, this could be why codes cannot be found.

Ah, according to this http://www.redremote.co.uk/faqs.html the 4000T boxes are compatible with both IRDA and RC5 (standard IR) signalling.
