Funding the BBC? The obsolete licence already does that. I won't pay to fund a service I never use. I think that figure of 2% for people without TVs has increased - and will increase further if this madness goes ahead. They'll be shooting themselves in the foot.

Can you get Internet access via another country? If you can, said country is going to have a lot more business.
I dare say there are a few that would welcome you with open arms . . of course whether you accept the invitation or not depends on your personal definitions of trust and security
