So what I said . Do not need customers permission to do this . So why hassle over it that is the unanswered question.

If they did this overnight imagine the amount of engineer call outs, given the many that have had hardware issues with the 'upgrade' requiring box replacements.

I won't be opting in. The 360 is a downgrade from Tivo, but tbh i could live with it , if it still has a recording facility. However the stream box which is the next step, will make VMs 'service' pointless. You don't need to pay them for that, your tv or many other devices will do that without paying VM.
Totally agree, my TV will provide all need .
