I am eventually going to need a new HOTAS for Elite and I recently tried a Warthog but couldn't get on with it, because I don't have the room to use pedals properly, and requiring a 3rd party app for button mapping was annoying.
I think I will eventually go for a Virpil Hotas setup but they are so expensive and currently being out of work, they are fully off the table.

Oh it annoys me too, I think it's ridiculous they can't install anti drift potentiameters, I installed TMRs which are the next step up from Hall Effect and I'm pretty sure they wouldn't cost Sony anymore to fit them, they know what they're doing and the bad press doesn't seem to make them care. Atleast they make them so a suitably skilled person can open them up relatively easily to replace and it's not like a mobile phone.
