Well the animal is stung up by its ankles and its throat slit and bleeds to death.
Stunning doesn't work 100%, but it comes close, and a better option.
Ironical the only meat I eat cannot be Halal. |
In the abattoir I visited pigs were hung 3 to a hook gassed then their throats slit. All the way through they were kicking and screaming. The lairage was close enough un stunned animals heard the screams and were terrified. How humane is that hey ?
