Having to repeatedly sign into apps can sometimes be an early sign of hard drive problems. Have you had any problems setting or playing back recordings? You can check for possible hard drive problems by pausing a live TV program for a minute or two and then pressing play. (It works the same as playing back a recording)

How are you resetting the 360 box? Is that by turning the box on and off? Removing the box from the mains and then plugging it back in again?

Or by resetting do you mean a factory reset? If you have performed a factory reset via Settings > System > Factory Reset, then part of that process means you have to sign into your apps such as iPlayer, Prime, Netflix and ITVX again.

If you haven't tried that factory reset yet then if you do try it then you are given 2 options

Keep Recordings
Format Disk

Choose Keep Recordings, as that means you won't lose your recordings and any planned recordings or series links you've set up. BUT you will however have to sign into your apps such as iPlayer, Prime, Netflix and ITVX again.
Yes to all of the above although we don't watch all the apps. We only tend to use BBC Player ITVX My5. It is a real pain and at time of writing this all our recordings have been lost without even touching the 360 box.
