I signed up to the app in 2022 without actually subscribing. I browsed through the content for a while and nothing really appealed to me. It wasn't until they did the £1 for 3 months offer that I decided to give it a try. I watched a few films, they were all decent, probably to be expected as they were all award winning. When the flash sale came along for a heavily discounted annual subscription, I renewed for a further year. I was quite surprised that some of the films were actually quite enjoyable. You don't know unless you try it. I wouldn't pay £11.99/month though, I think that is overpriced. The £18.99/month version includes a weekly cinema ticket for their film choice of the week. Many would probably find having the film selected for you too restrictive, then there is the issue of it may not be showing in your local area.
On the whole though, I'm quite impressed but I probably wouldn't have taken the bait had it not been for the £1 promotion.

Probably more for film enthusiasts really but with a wide variety of award winning films you'll probably find stuff that would interest you. Wait for a mega-discounted promotion though if you are going to try it out.
