), these locations you cite are indeed relics of Empire. Giving them pretty names is just denial. They will, at some point, revert back to their natural owners.
Goa is good example of what eventually happens to relics of Empire.
The irony here is that you are denying that "we haven’t let the Empire go" and then, in the same breath, claiming that these locations are not related to Empire. Nice ..
