ATM you have distinct options. More newer movies from Sky at a higher cost or older movies and loads of TV from Netflix at a rock bottom price.

A good compromise, as has been pointed out, is bluerays/DVDs from Lovefilm at £10/month, which also includes the streaming content as well.

It would be great to have Netflix as part of XL, and then we could pay an optional extra fiver or so to receive more modern films as deals are done with the studios.

I am sure that Netflix will be much better value than Sky Movies as time goes on.
