The sooner there are api's to allow BF3 and 4 to run in linux the better then i can dump windows for good.

you can control it. What changes in win 8 from win 7 you want to control that you can't
M$ reported 17% increase in profits so I think they are ok
also M$ have over 90% hold on Desktop market share and Windows 8 is increasing that hold
