Could this mean Sky Atlantic will become a premium channel on Sky in April 2012 ?

Do I understand correctly that the BBC News Multi-screen service, which is currently accessed via the Red Button, will be taken away? Is this common to all service providers meaning there will be no News Multi-screen service available to anyone? What's the reason for this as it seemed like a reasonable use of bandwidth?*

I trust that no other Red Button services will be affected by this and we will still have access to the BBC iPlayer, News Headlines, Sports and Weather and other channel specific options via the Red Button.

*Why is it that some of the Multi-screen windows play all of the time but others, such as News Headlines, have to be selected to activate them in a larger window?
I do know the full info but BBC Red Button on BBC News may close.

But I think Virgin and Sky maybe only cut to one stream like Freeview channel 301 - plus the BBC doing that will be let the BBC do away with all the ''Not on Freeview'' carry on.
