and then again there are long serving (10 years plus customers) and shorter VIP customers (like myself on VIP for about 4 years) who havent had any contact at all ..... and that doesnt include the fact some people are getting the tivo/sales contacting them on multiple times even if they had already placed the order and booked a date.....
this is why some people get frustrated with VM and their lack of communication and their apparent lack of organisation
All IMHO and i repeat im not even gonna have tivo if i have to pay for it so im not jealous of those getting chosen at this stage just pointing out the facts as i have understood them

It's not difficult to understand at all. There was a post in this thread copied from the community thread that said what was happening. That coupled with the fact that TiVo is still in a pre release state and they are getting in contact with as many people as possible to book installs says to me that VM are doing their best to get TiVo to as many customers as they can. some people in here think that because they pay xx amount or have been a customer for xx years means they should be at the front of the queue.
They have only been calling customers for a about a week and a half as well.
Also it clearly states in the letter that got sent with the remotes to the 1000 that they are getting the boxes early as part of a pre launch special offer. So until it fully launches I think people need to calm down a bit and stop moaning at Virgin.
