One thing that Griffin has got right is that it is pointless making speeches like that without following through with action ,and that action must be well thought out not knee jerk reactions which was labours trade mark
I doubt he's misunderstood anything, probably just hopes that other people will misunderstand it and is trying to hijack the speech for his own purposes.

We'll see if action genuinely does follow the words.
