I had no trouble ditching them either. Phoned up said I didn't want it, paid my final bill and that was that. The old stuff was never collected, still got the big silver modem in a drawer somewhere... After suffering Sky for a few years came begging at their door to take me back!
It's been nearly 7 years of happy surfing and viewing... been a few niggles but nothing serious that wasn't fixed in a few days.
Virgin is the better of the two companies.
