Ronaldo goes down easily after contact from other players, but can you ban someone who has had contact from another player? I can't remember much from last season to be fair, but I didn't watch United a lot last season either. The one I do remember was in the CF semi-final. There was minimal contact, and he stays up for a bit before noticing too many Arsenal players around him and he goes down. Credit to the ref, he didn't give it. (Actually kinda similar to Eboue's dive)
My point is not to single out Ronaldo though, it was the point out that he would very unlikely to ever be official called a diver in the way Eduardo was. Eduardo doesn't have a history of it, which is way I consider it unfair. If ever diver was given the same treatment then I am all for it.
What I am really asking is what causes Uefa to intervene?
