but you aren't making a fair comparison. It's like comparing supermarket own label peas with branded beans.

VM subscribers who aren't as bothered about HD as you clearly are have the option of having the M TV package. This is a fairer comparison. Then you have to take into account whether other differences such as catch up are important to you.

Personally I subscribe to XL for Setanta sports and for some to the kids channels that aren't available through freestat. HD isn't a priority.
