Well Arsenal have sold nearly as much though, it's not as if he has a blank cheque to sign players. Hence Arsenal being 11th. On average Arsenal spend £5 mill a season compared to £11 mill as is the case with United. While since '02 United have spent £18 mill, Spurs £19! and Chelsea a wooping £26 mill on average :O While Arsenal remain around the same at £4 mill.
