Spurs - £356Million! Would never have expected that much. And Man Utd £190Million in sales! Considering we are the 2nd biggest spenders - to come out with a per-season spend that is comparable to Man City and then taking Trophies Won into consideration, that's some decent transfer activity. I suppose the fact we won so much with a team that cost very little can bias that slightly. However, remove Peter Kenyon from our outgoing and that £391 would (could) have been somewhat smaller.
Also £260Mill from Arsenal pretty much knocks the old "Wenger doesn't spend" out of the park, but again, £180Mill in sales. £4.6Mill a season. For all the things about him I don't like, very good manager Wenger.
Edit: What I mean is more the myth that Wenger is gutless when it comes to spending.

Congratulations to Burnley

More local teams the better - off to Burnley after a midweek ECL is better than off to Southampton. It's nothing personal against the Sheff Utd/Birmingham and Wolves of the world, but it's always the same teams that bounce Up/Down. It's refreshing to get some different teams/fans n stadiums.
Still gutted PNE missed out.
