The number of cars of the grid is increasing from 20 to 26 for the 2010 season, allowing the entrance of 3 new teams. That American race team made it very public that they wanted to enter with their female driver, so I'd expect to see them next year. Pro Drive could also be another team, as they have had interest in the past couple of years, only not entering due to trouble with all that Spy stuff IIRC.
That's 2 of the 3 teams. But if Ferrari, Red Bull, Renault and Toyota do quit, that's an extra 5 spaces, which I don't think anyone could fill.
I'm all for saving money especially in the current economic climate, but it is starting to tear the sport apart.
