Hi, try rebooting your cable modem 1st let it boot up completly so that has an ip address assigned by VM's DHCP server then power on your wireless router with auto config switched on this should sort it as you have effectivly got 2 routers trying 2 comunicate with dhcp server at same time as your wireless router is dhcp enabled looking at your pic and as for that ip address you gave in 1st post its an automaticly assigned address when something cant comunicate with dhcp server. In other words 192.168.1.1 ip address means dhcp is enabled in ip settings but no dhcp server was detected so windows will automaticly assign this ip address. Hope that makes more sense lol
