Hmmm - as the best player we had at the world cup (and yes, I am aware that was 7 months ago), and taking into account the fact that United paid 18 million for Carrick, I'd say that Hargreaves is well worth 20 million. Anyway, you'll probably find that it's not
English clubs that result in price rises - it's Chelsea in particular who have distorted the transfer market
