iPad (Logging onto virgin site) problem
2 Attachment(s)
Can someone else with an iPad or iPhone try this for me please.
I can't seem to log on with my iPad onto my account. When I click on the drop down menu to select 'virgin.net' there is a pop up but it just goes away again. I suspect it may be just the way safari on the iPad handles the page but I would like to be able to log on with it when I'm out and about. |
Re: iPad (Logging onto virgin site) problem
It should just work, now the obvious question is are you choosing virgin.net from the drop down and you do actually know your password as is not just saved on your home computer.
Surprising how many people have it saved but actually forget it. |
Re: iPad (Logging onto virgin site) problem
Sorry I'm not being clear.
I can't choose anything as the drop down menu pops up then goes straight away. If I do it on the pc I can choose virgin.net and put in my user name and password no problem. edit - I can't even get the popup to stay on long enough to get a screen shot. |
Re: iPad (Logging onto virgin site) problem
Try putting in the browser address bar > mail.virgin.net see if that works any better.
Or click this https://identity.virginmedia.com/vm_...ltmplcache%3D2 |
Re: iPad (Logging onto virgin site) problem
That logged me into my email which is great :) :tu:
Is there an address that I can use to access my account details like that? |

Re: iPad (Logging onto virgin site) problem
Same here, I just assumed it was the way Safari rendered the page and the way the iPad sometimes seems to have issues with drop down boxes.

Re: iPad (Logging onto virgin site) problem
You may be able to install Firefox if you jailbreak your iPad.

Re: iPad (Logging onto virgin site) problem
I wonder if it's worth emailing VM's tech support and asking them?
I wouldn't thikn the iPad has a 'supported' browser if that's the right term? I may well try tomorrow when I get back from the hospital. Masque - your help is invaluable :tu: cheers :) |

It would be a good plan, but I don't trust opera mini.
