Virgin Media New Mailbox

Hi all, hope its ok to ask a question with first post:D
Anyway I have tried in the past and again yesterday to
add a new mailbox. When it was Blueyonder I could add a
new mailbox and up to 3 email addresses but could never
get the new email address if not in the primary box to work.
Tried again yesterday to see changes since the switchover.
Now primary box one has the 2 email addresses I currently use,
now though you cant access these to change them if you wanted to.
Also the third email address which was for my webspace which I set up
but never used and could not delete is in a box of its own blueyonder again. The new one is......@virginmedia.com but when you click it just says
delete or change password there is no way of adding any new email addesses.
If it does change what else would I have to do to make the new mailbox work,
got an idea its via outlook tools but cant add any emails anyway at the moment which has been the case since the day I first had blueyonder installed.
Thanks in advance:)

Re: Virgin Media New Mailbox

Now you have been moved over you get one e-mail address per mailbox.

The old alias system that blueyonder.co.uk addresses had doesn't exist anymore

Re: Virgin Media New Mailbox

The e-mail address is the mailbox name with @virginmedia.com on the end

Is authentication required on BY/VM mail? If so it may be that

If it is an authentication issue then go on Tools > Accounts > Double click BY account > Click servers tab > Make sure 'My server requires authentication' is ticked
