My outgoing email is not working.
 
This started last night and is still here this morning, any attempt to send email results is this:

Noting has changed with the configuration of my PC, it worked yesterday morning, but didn't work yesterday evening, my pc had been switched off in between. Also my incoming email works fine.

do you use norton anti virus?

if so run the live update, does this fix the problem?

Join the club neither is mine I think the mail server is showing that certain charisma again :shrug:

If you turn off outgoing e mail scanning in Norton AV 2004, it should work again. Latest update from Norton fixes the issue. Scanning can go back on then. Someone at Norton messed it up :-)

Sorry folks, just got in from work. I have just ran liveupdate manually and outgoing email started working after that. Looks like it was NAV 2004's fault.
