Most of these could probably have been used to check into venues when people were going crazy about Covid too. I wonder if there is anyone called Maxwell House. And then there's the classics like Mike Oxlong, Hugh Jass, etc etc.

I have a lovely friend who was called Russell Spouatt, we met on our first day at Primary School.

He changed his name by deed poll on his 21st birthday, took a long time for his Dad to forgive him but his Mum was the person that paid his legal fees. :)

Real-life embarrassing names.

When I was in the RAF, one of the guys on my Unit was named Tommy Tickell - he was known by all as "Tess".

In the mid-80s, I worked for a medium-sized Software House, and one of the Directors was named Bob Saul - it was only after a couple of years I realised why he didn’t like to be called Robert* (his given name)…

*hint - pair the initial letter of Robert with his surname.
