Price increase 50 > 100Mb
The bad news, upgrading from 50 Mb to 100Mb has gone up £3 to £13 extra. :(
The good news, I have discovered a way to get through to UK CS after dialling 150. ;) |

Re: Price increase 50 > 100Mb
This just may be a fluke but after calling numerous times dialling 150 and getting Bangalore I decided to change tactics, dialling 150 again the robot asked me if the line I was using was on the same account as the problem I was calling about, this time I selected no, then I was given a number of options to which I selected to speak to a CA and I was immediately connected to a UK CS Advisor who then proceeded to ask me questions relative to my account, eventually, when she was satisfied I was who I said I was she dealt with my query.
Now I know that if you play cards long enough you will probably be dealt four aces eventually but it did seem strange that after trying for a few days and always getting through to Delhi that I got through to the UK first time after initially pretending I was calling on someone else's behalf. Worth a try next time you call 150. |

I did inform CS about the pages you mention, even offering to be put on a new 18 month contract as shown but they would have none of it, tried offshore and UK and got exactly the same blather. All I could get out of them was removing the installation fee. |
Re: Price increase 50 > 100Mb
Remember though not to get caught up about the increase (due the differences existing prices can be) - you need to concentrate on the total cost.
For 100Mbit the bundle should costs the same per month as a new customer (excluding any short term discounts) |
Re: Price increase 50 > 100Mb
Don't waste your time with CS call retentions.

Then that isn't right

With retentions I got a £36 credit for my current bundle overcharge and if I go ahead with the 100 Mb upgrade in January I have to call them again to sort out the overcharge on that, then I will presumably have to call them every 12 months to get my bill revised.... Thanks to BenMcr and kwikbreaks for the help and advice. :tu: |
