I was just thinking the same thing.

Second night running I've not been able to access my e-mails. For me it's not vital but it's still irritating.

Mine came back for about ten minutes and has now gone again, ah well least i got most of my emails

No they didn't broadcast it - at least not part of Childrens' TV. It was made for the in-house Christmas VT tapes that used to be made by the technicians back in the days of 2" videotape and razor blades and before Dennis Norden got his hands on them and started do It'll be Alright on the Night ad. infinitum.

Parts of it was broadcast as part of a Channel 4 show called TV Offal, but that was a late night comedy/spoof type of show... and not very funny at that.

Ok OK we have all well some of us have do the pun part to the problem.

But its now day 2 and its getting beyound a joke e-mail is out again in the DE21 area........ Night all I'm off to bed :(

.... still out in Belfast here BT4, have to say its the longest outage i've suffered, ever, with NTL which all in all isn't so bad, guess just a wee bit more patience

No email again this morning. This is beyond a joke. And I have a sneaking suspicion that when it does come back up they'll have lost mails again.

the mail server is responding which is a start

but the mail storage servers are down by the looks of it....

that and ntlworld.com is down again

How to get your email.
1. get an alternative account (hotmail, yahoo, gmail, etc)
2. Go to http://selfcare.ntlworld.com/cgi-bin/frontend
3. repeat trying (2) until the page is briefly available
4. Set up forwarding details so that your emails are directed to youir new account
5. Tell everyone that you're no longer using ntlworld email because the company is useless

It's worked for me :)
