Re: Bnp

Well another thread bitchin about the BNP.

People still confuse the BNP with the likes of the NF and Combat18.
I've been on the receiving end of C18 and yet I dont think the BNP is evil.

You think I'm racist? I think your a bloody lunatic thats scared to stand up for yourself.

Russ (i think) mentioned in a thread some time ago that being branded racist carries a lot more stigma than being branded sexist, ageist etc. And he's right.

I however am concerned about policies the BNP pick up on, I dont think their approach is right, yet I certainly dont think immigrants here have a rough time, I certainly dont think they are classed as second class citizens and I certainly DO think that white peoples rights ARE affected because of political correctness.
I think the UK should walk away from a european union, I think we should stamp out the majority of immigration. I think we need a government that will fight our corner in Europe when we inevitably get bundled into it by uncle tony and his cronies.

I dont think the BNP would ever do that. I think they need more time to weed out the violence and the hatred, yet I do think they speak for a large percentage of the population.

If being proud to be English is racist then yes I am one
If being proud of my heritage is racist then yes I am one
If being concerend of the influx of immigrants in the current political climate is racist then yes I am.

However I do not condone violence against anyone based on their race, religion sexual preference sex, hair colour eye colour etc etc.

They urge all supporters to back Denmark who are all white.

And we can all believe thats an unbiased piece of journalism cant we?
Put ti into perspective people the Anti Nazi league, the anti BNP league etc are in reality the exact opposite of the other. They are no better, no worse and in no better position to be in power.

I have never understood the problem with an open door policy. Contary to the Daily Mail/BNP view we have a falling population - in particular of young economically active people.

If you can put up with the rain...snow...traffic....eastenders.....Man U ....and racist halfwits

Come on in

Then perhaps you have the money to pay for these people. Stop there handouts and free house's though and you'll find it hard to get anyone over here anyway. There supposed to stay in the first neutral country too. There's just too many mugs in this country that believe the cr@p

This can easily be changed but until the government listens well lets hope they don't leave it too late hey because there's too many people like you that don't realise how many people are against this FREE open state for everyone who wants to smash through the doors to get here. Strange too how immigrants/asylum seekers are supposed to be deported if they break the law yet many have already broken it by creeping into this country illegally

No! I mean the issues directly affecting people. It's nothing to do with the tabloids, why assume that everyone is swayed by newspaper stories? In my area, a large complex has been built to temporarily house and process asylum seekers. We've got many elderly people in the area, who need similar facilities to live in and be cared for, but there's no money for that.

This doesn't mean I'm racist. This just means that I think we need to prioritise what funds we have, and somebody who has worked all their life and paid into the social services system should get at least equal access to the service.

What about the gangs of youths hanging around on street corners at night? This isn't a fabrication of the tabloids, it happens. Many people are in fear of what they might do, and in many cases they do cause trouble. The brand new glass bus shelters which are smashed weekly are testament to this. What's being done? Nothing. The Police seem more interested in catching speeding motorists.

The BNP is not the answer to these problems, but neither are the mainstream parties coming up with any real solutions. They need to get their act together, or extremist parties such as the BNP will grow. Isn't that similar to what happened in Germany between the two world wars? The people were disaffected by their mainstream parties, and they felt that they were being persecuted. A party came along, saying all the right things, and growing, but they were ignored by the mainstream parties as irrelevant. When they did recognise the threat, it was too late. We do not want that.

what about the other partys - there's one called the UK Independence Party - do they offer what people are looking for without being racist?

From the UKIP website:

Quote:

The UKIP insists that the processing of asylum applications must be speeded up. We approve of the current arrangement in which asylum seekers are detained in reception centres whilst their cases are considered. However asylum applicants must be closely monitored during the application process. The current system, which affords the opportunity to 'disappear' makes a mockery of the law and helps to make Britain a popular destination. This opportunity is probably the biggest single cause of the current scale of Britain's problems with asylum seekers. It also creates new social problems in which illegal workers are vulnerable to exploitation and compete unfairly with our own least well off citizens.

http://www.ukip.org/index.php?menu=m...stohomeaffairs
Seems eminently sensible to me, and those who want to register a protest vote against the established parties would do well to consider UKIP rather than those racists at the BNP. UKIP stands a good chance of winning significantly in these elections, a result the politiicans will have to take notice of.

Although I am not convinced by the case for the UK leaving the EU outright, I am considering very seriously voting for these people.

Yes, that's the stumbling block for me. Many things they say seem fair, but the idea of pulling out of the EU completely is nonsense. It is the bed we've made (or at least helped to make) for ourselves so we should now lie in it. To pull out would be to turn 180 degrees from the direction everyone else is going in. It would cost this country a lot of money and jobs. It may noy be everything we want, but it is the only realistic option currently available to us and we're perhaps better off trying (along with some of the newer members who feel similar to ourselves) to steer it in the direction we want it to go, rather than abandoning it completely.

But, politicians have an incurable hunger for votes. No votes, no job. If they see that Euro-sceptic policies win votes, they will eventually be unable to help themselves. Don't forget, Tony B. Liar won his first parliamentary election on a platform of withdrawl from the EU, so mainstream political parties can and do make complete about-turns even on policies as big as this. A mass vote for UKIP is never going to bring them to power, but if the vote is big enough the mainstream parties are likely to change their positions just enough to shore up our honoured position in the EU as the principal buttress against creeping federalism.

Remember how keen the main parties suddenly were to claim green credentials after the Greens hugely increased their vote in the Euro elections in the late 80s (1989, IIRC).

BNP DO HAVE LINKS WITH COMBAT 18 VERY CLOSE LINKS.

Also before you all go into a rant about being coming into the UK. Think about this a lot of doctors are from abroad helping to save the nhs and there are still (dispite the lowest unemployment) people who are fully uk members who live ooff the state.

We should be more worried about the racsit half-wits and thugs that seem to be taking voer the nation rather than these people

Do you have any evidence of that? I'm not denying it but to make a statement like that, you'd need to be able to back it up.

Re: Bnp

First of all lets look at there views:

http://www.cableforum.co.uk/board/sh...&highlight=bnp

Go down to the long post where i posted the list of policys (2nd one) and countered them. They have clear policys showing racism and being homophobic

also as for combat 18 links:

Quote:

The link between Combat 18 and the BNP goes back to the early 1990's. Combat 18 provided "security" at BNP meetings and events....as one of the senior organisers in Combat 18, knew of Nick Griffin. He regarded the BNP leader as a figure who shared many of the fundamental beliefs of the far right such as Holocaust denial and forcible repatriation.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/programme...ma/1672100.stm

also:
Quote:

Steve Belshaw (East Midlands BNP organiser). Was convicted in 1994 for assaulting a lawyer in his home town of Mansfield. At the time, Belshaw combined his BNP membership with Combat 18 activity.
Quote:

Combat 18 was initially launched as a stewarding group for the BNP. C18 supporters went on to post letter bombs, instigate football violence and carry out dozens of racist attacks.
EVERYONE GO TO THIS SITE. IT GIVES INFORMATION ABOUT THE BNP AND SUCH http://www.s-light.demon.co.uk
