I might be missing something here but is it basically a round, powerful vibrator that you have to gain control of and, in doing so, it exercises your arm muscles?

When my thumb tendon (right-hand) swells up I just take a load of Ibuprofen :shrug: Occupational hazard. I figure it will last long enough for doctors to develop an cyborg-style replacement :D

Can anybody who has already bought one of these, tell me which model they went for and why? I have my debit card out on the desk in front of me (I still have some birthday money to spend!) and the Powerball website is open at the purchase page ... :D

The basic ones with the digital readout are just fine. You don't need one that has flashing lights! :D
