Tftp is normally used when you cant get into the routers web gui or after a bad flash as a last resort, it should access any router, gap30 should be able to use routers web gui as its not flashed yet. I flashed my Dlink ages ago with no problem, but my wireless signal was so poor I went back to my Linksys.

Down to personal preference as with most products, but I always found Linksys was good.

Re: how do i change my computers ip address?

right its a toss up between the wrt160n or wrt320n, i do a lot of online gaming and the missus wants the computer upstairs on the wireless, the 160 has dual band, but could i get away with the 320 and just set preference on the QoS settings? i am a bit new to all of this, also i mainly play goldeneye on the wii and this will be hard wired into the router, with it being hard wired can i still set it on the QoS settings to take preference?
