The ones you linked to above could just as easily be rubbish el-cheapo MCC dyes, you can't know for sure. Bought the exact same ones from Amazon a few years ago, returned them because they were so rubbish. A few months earlier the exact same product had a completely different dye. Advanced AZO+ means nothing. My recording speed has nothing to do with it, poor dyes = poor burns. Verbatim have used the same "Advanced AZO" name on anything from the best Taiyo Yuden dyes to the cheapest crappy junk used in the 5p no-name DVDRs.

Hi i burn on slow speed 8 ive seen tdk 50 discs for £8.49
dose anyone use Infinity discs 50 for £7.29 free p&P verbatin 50 £10.99

Burning a disc at a slower speed will be easier to read by cd / dvd drive, safer but need more time to burn.

Burning at a higher speed will make data faster to get inside the disk but for the consequence need a cd/dvd drive with high speed to read the disk.

Sometimes the data cannot be read (corrupt) when we burn at a high speed, just use the medium range speed to burn a cd/dvd for the safety of your data inside.

Incorrect, all burning at a slower speed does is give you a better chance of an error free recording, when you play it back it is played back exactly the same as any other disc and burn speed is irrelevant.

No he isn't.

I always burn my dvd's at a slow speed and the verification is always much faster than the speed at which they are burnt at.

Are these at Sainsbury Full face Printable?

I am currently creating a DVD for a Scooter Sprinting Club for their presentation night and I am printing directly onto the DVD. I have done this for a lot of my vhs tapes that I have put onto DVD.

I normally get them from SVP but their delivery is a bit steep now just for a spool of 50 discs. I usually get the Titanium brand from them and they have been good.

I had to read that a few times as I did not quite believe what I was reading, so the faster you burn to a disk the faster the drive needs to be to read it, now that is funny and thanks for the insight it meant so much to me.https://www.cableforum.co.uk/images/...2012/12/10.gif

No, the verbatims at Sainsburys aren't printable. I used to use svp, but their postage prices made them less competitive than play or amazon

Something i recently found out about Verbatim discs is that they are made in two places. The ones made in Taiwan by CMC are apparently inferior to the ones made by Mitsubishi in Japan. The only way to tell is to look at the "made in xxxx".
This probably explains why iv`e had some Verbatim`s with a low coaster rate and some with a high :p:
Recently got some Sony DVD+R from the local Sainsburys (£8 for 50 i think) and they seem to be pretty good.

As to Lister of Smeg :nono:..............do some looking up, burn speed has absolutely no bearing on reading (assuming no errors)
