Re: DIR-615 D4 - V slow wireless speeds (flashed with DD-WRT)
Sorted it, many thx. I set the ip to 192.168.0.2 and accessed 192.168.0.1 and hey presto the emergency room came up. many thanks. Now i have flashed the router with BOTH firmware images. Am i right in thinking that i can now easily flash the router using either virgin firmware and dlink 4.11 firmware using the browser now. And if i do ever use the dlink firmware, can i just flash the dd-wrt revb and not bother using the FACTOry one ever again, many thanks.

Re: DIR-615 D4 - V slow wireless speeds (flashed with DD-WRT)
ok here is an update.
I flashed the firmware on wednesday shortly before leaving my house to stay with sister. After I flashed the latency appeared to be up slightly but may have been due to getting to busier time of day. When I logged into my pc over Remote Desktop from my sister's over the internet the latency increased as would expect due to upload bandwidth been used, however the latency has stayed high since even when disconnected. Could be a VM problem but also could be a router problem that it may need flushing out aka reboot. |
