Yes,I will get back to you over the weekend and do a little review of it for you.or PM you as it would be off topic on here. It's a relief to read that the Tivo box should be ok with it though.

I just read a few posts on AV Forum where someone said it is not compatable with Virgin 3D and that there will be a fix for it January 15th :confused:

But they don't say which box they have. Most VM users don't have TiVo.

I've found a user comment on a BBC blog that suggests there is not a problem with TiVo. See comment 40 here

The next non-Sky 3D broadcast that I am aware of is Streetdance 3D which will be on BBC HD at 18:25 on New Years Day.

And here lies the problem , lack of content especially if as you say you don't have access to Sky 3D.

But even people with Sky 3D could have problems as 3D is not really taking off as some people expected because of the annoying glasses and a lack of compelling content being the driving reasons for low 3DTV adoption and l still see it as a fad that will not last and to be perfectly honest most viewers do not give two hoots about it.

I didn't give a 'hoot' about it either till I got a set that was capable of 3d, I now love it, but the lack of content is frustrating.

And the lack of content is a big problem going forward for 3D in my mind.

I see 3D as an add on to my HDTV , I personally can't see there being numerous 3D channels for a good few years , just look in the US for proof of that. At the moment being a Sky World subscriber I feel I have access to a decent variety and amount of 3D content which I expect to grow in the coming year.

And thats the important thing is for customers to see it as a little extra and if you are happy with it MM then thats fine and dandy by me.:)

How lovely, funny you should mention about more 3D content because I've just been reading that there will be more to come in the new year.
